About Decisions API
Learn how Decisions API helps software teams turn application state into structured decisions, probabilities, and safe next steps.

What Decisions API is
Decisions API builds decision infrastructure for software. The decision API takes a piece of application state and typed questions, then returns structured choices, scores, or yes-or-no decisions with probability signals.
The goal is simple: help software decide clearly while the application keeps control of what happens next.
Where it fits
Decisions API is designed for product and engineering teams working on classification, routing, scoring, agent workflows, and safety checks. It can be tested in the online playground or connected through the Decisions API.
Decisions API is not a replacement for every language model. Open-ended generation and complex reasoning may still belong to an LLM; Decisions API is useful when a system needs a defined answer shape that code can consume.
Our approach
- Make the input state explicit.
- Define the answer space before the request runs.
- Return probability and confidence signals alongside the decision.
- Leave routing, execution, and human review in the application layer.
